A native Houstonian passionate about family, food, and creativity, she serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is known for her versatility in leadership and counseling techniques. She believes that healing and therapy are collaborative efforts, aiming to create a non-judgmental space to build a genuine, trustworthy therapeutic relationship. Her diverse experience and interests cover all age groups, from childhood to adulthood, and a broad range of areas, including childhood trauma, couples’ issues, crisis intervention, life transitions, work-life balance, depression, multicultural issues, LGBTQ+, anxiety, lack of positive coping skills, anger management, grief, communication skills, behavior intervention, and spiritual issues. She strongly believes in the variety of counseling approaches and techniques that can be used to meet specific needs. She is EMDR-trained and skilled in various counseling methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, faith-based approaches, and Person-Centered Therapy.
She has a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor's degree in American Sign Language from Lamar University. She is currently working toward her Doctor of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling at Liberty University.
