A native Houstonian passionate about faith, family, food, and creativity, she serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is known for her versatility in leadership and counseling techniques. She believes that healing and therapy are collaborative efforts that aim to create a non-judgmental space to foster a genuine, trustworthy therapeutic relationship. Her diverse experience and interests cover all age groups, from childhood to adulthood, and a wide range of issues, including couples’ concerns, crisis intervention, life transitions, work-life balance, depression, multicultural matters, crime victims, first responders, anxiety, lack of positive coping skills, anger management, grief, communication skills, behavior intervention, and spiritual matters. She strongly supports a variety of counseling approaches and techniques to meet specific needs. She is EMDR-trained and uses various methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Faith-based approaches, and Person-Centered Therapy.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language from Lamar University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Marriage and Family Counseling at Liberty University.
